Three ways to start
Most people land here in one of three spots. Pick yours.
- You have a file. Drop it in the box at the top of this page. STL, 3MF and STEP all work.
- You found a model online. Paste its link in the same box. We read the maker's license first, and we print it only if the license allows it.
- You have no file. Tell us the board and the ports you use. We can draw the case. A person prices that work by hand. See Concept to Part.
Why a tiny case is its own job
Small parts have thin walls, and thin walls crack. Keep walls at 1.6 mm or thicker. Our upload check flags anything thinner. See the design checks page.
A Zero case is often just a shell with four or five cutouts. Each cutout is a chance to land a hair off. Mark the one that must be exact, like the micro USB port, and we hold it closest. Our notes on tolerance say how much to expect.
Camera, screen and handheld builds
The Zero suits small camera builds, because the board has a camera connector. A camera case needs a window for the lens and a way to point it.
Zero builds with a screen, a battery and buttons become handhelds. Those cases are bigger and come in pieces. See our page on Raspberry Pi handheld and cyberdeck cases.
Screws, snaps and the board holes
The Zero has holes spaced 58 by 23 mm. A case can hold the board on short posts through those holes. A post needs a small rib to tie it to the wall, so it cannot snap off.
For a case that opens often, a brass heat-set insert holds better than bare plastic threads. Tell us the insert you buy and we size the hole to it. A snap fit needs a test part first, because FDM is not a machined part.
What fits a Pi Zero case?
A Zero case holds a small board and a few ports. Check each row against your file.
Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W
- Size
- 65 x 30 mm, holes 58 x 23 mm
- What to know
- Micro USB for power, a USB port with OTG, a mini HDMI port, a microSD slot and a camera connector. The case needs a cutout for each one you use.
Original Zero and Zero W
- Size
- Same 65 x 30 mm form factor
- What to know
- Raspberry Pi says the Zero 2 W fits inside most existing Zero cases. Check the ports in your file anyway.
A Zero with a header, a camera or a screen
- Size
- Adds height
- What to know
- The Zero 2 W has an empty spot for a 40-pin header. If you solder one on, count its height. A camera plugs into the connector on the board.

Which plastic should you pick?
Match the plastic to where the Zero lives. We print in three plastics for these cases.
Pick this for most cases. It is tough and it handles more heat than PLA, so it suits a camera on a shelf or a case in a drawer.
Watch for: It has some give. Keep walls 1.6 mm or thicker on a small case.
Pick this for a desk case that stays indoors. It costs less and the detail comes out clean.
Watch for: It softens in a hot room or a closed car. Skip it for a camera in a window.
Pick this for soft parts: feet, a bumper, a grip, a cap over a port.
Watch for: It bends. Do not use it for the case body. TPU goes to a person for a quote.
You see your instant price the moment you upload. TPU goes to a person, who prices the job. A person reviews your request and follows up by email. Full details are on the materials page.
Can you print a case I found online?
Maybe. A file being free to download does not make it free to print for sale. Some makers say no to commercial use.
So we check. Paste the link, and we read the license. If it allows commercial use, we print it. If you made the file or own the rights, tell us when you order. We keep a record of what we read.
What you get, and what you do not
You get the printed plastic parts. You do not get the Pi, the screws or the camera. We do not put the case together. Parts ship as printed, with layer lines you can see.
There is no minimum order, so one case to test the fit is fine. Most orders ship in 3 to 5 business days. Shipping is shown before you pay.
About product names
Raspberry Pi names are used only to say which board a case fits. We are not made by, sold by or tied to the company that makes them. Product names belong to their owners.
Common questions
- Can you 3D print a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W case for me?
- Yes. Upload your case file in the box at the top of this page. You get an instant price in seconds. TPU goes to a person for a quote. We print in the USA and ship it. There is no minimum order.
- Will a Pi Zero case fit the Zero 2 W?
- Often yes. Raspberry Pi says the Zero 2 W has the same form factor as the original Zero and fits inside most existing Zero cases. Check that the ports in your file match what you use.
- What plastic is best for a Pi Zero case?
- PETG for most cases, because it is tough. PLA is fine for a desk case indoors. TPU is for soft parts like feet and bumpers, not for the case body.
- How thin can the walls of a Zero case be?
- Keep them at 1.6 mm or thicker. Our upload check flags thinner walls, because they crack at the corners.
- Do you ship the case with a Pi Zero in it?
- No. We print the case only. You add the board and the screws. We do not assemble parts.
- I have no case file. Can you help?
- Yes. Tell us the board and the ports you use. We can draw a case from that. A person prices design work by hand for each job.
- Can I get a printed case from an STL I downloaded?
- Yes, when the license lets us. Paste the link and we read it. If you made the file, say so when you order.
