Do you provide inspection reports or certifications?

No. We are not an inspection lab. We do not run a CMM and we do not ship dimensional reports, PPAP or first article inspection. If your part needs a measured report to be accepted, we are not the right supplier, and we would rather say so now.

How do repeat orders work?

Your order page has a Reorder button. We keep the exact file you ordered, price it again at today's price, and you confirm quantity and material before you pay. A changed file is a new version; the original is never overwritten.

If a part is wrong because of how we printed it, we reprint it free. We are not an inspection lab and we say so.

Reprint promise: A print defect, a wrong material or a wrong color is reprinted free. Send photos; you do not ship the bad parts back first.

File security

Your part is your part. We print it, we do not sell, share or publish it, and we delete it when you ask.

In transit: Every page runs over an encrypted connection, so a file is encrypted while it travels to us.
At rest: Files sit in private storage with no public web address. A saved project or order link never contains a storage address.
Who can open it: Our team, and the production partner that prints it. Nobody else.
Deletion: Email the quotes address and we delete the file.
Accepted files: STL, 3MF and STEP for an instant price; drawings, images and PDFs on a reviewed request. Up to 60 part files in one project.

What happens to your files

Tolerances

FDM holds the tolerances of the process, not of a machine shop. We tell you where the limits are before you order.

What we hold: We do not certify a tolerance number on a quote. The quality page and the design checks say what FDM holds well and where it does not.
Design checks: Seven checks run on every uploaded part: wall thickness, size, thin features and more. A part that fails routes to a person.
