Three ways to start
Most people land here in one of three spots. Pick yours.
- You have a file. Drop it in the box at the top of this page. STL, 3MF and STEP all work.
- You found a model online. Paste its link in the same box. We read the maker's license first, and we print it only if the license allows it.
- You have no file. Tell us the board and what you want. We can draw the case from a sketch. A person prices that work by hand. See Concept to Part.
Plan for heat before you plan for looks
A Pi makes heat, and a closed box holds it in. Vents are the fix. Short slots print clean. A long open span sags in the middle, so keep each slot near 10 mm or less across.
Leave space above the chip for a heatsink or a fan. Measure your whole stack, not just the board. A case that is 2 mm too low will not close.
Cameras, screens, drives and fans
Every add-on changes the case. A camera needs a window. A touchscreen needs a frame and room for its cable. A drive board needs a taller lid. A fan needs screw posts and a path for air.
Pick a file made for your exact stack. If you add a part later, you need a new case. Printing is cheap enough to try again. Order one first, check the fit, then order more. The design checks page lists what we test on every file.
Screws, ports and tight fits
A full-size Pi has four mounting holes, about 2.7 mm wide, spaced 58 by 49 mm. Match your screws to the holes. In plastic, a brass heat-set insert holds better than bare threads if you open the case a lot. Tell us the insert you buy and we size the hole to it.
Ports and cutouts can land a hair off. FDM is not a machined part. Our notes on tolerance say how much. If one cutout must be exact, flag it in your order.
Which Raspberry Pi is your case for?
A case file is made for one board. Check that the file names your board before you order.
Raspberry Pi 5
- Size
- 85 x 56 mm, holes 58 x 49 mm
- What to know
- Has a power button and a four-pin fan connector. Leave air room over the chip. If you use a fan or a cooler, count its height.
Raspberry Pi 4
- Size
- 85 x 56 mm, holes 58 x 49 mm
- What to know
- Same board size and hole spacing as the Pi 5. The Pi 5 adds a power button and a fan connector, so check that the file names your board.
Raspberry Pi 3
- Size
- 85 x 56 mm, holes 58 x 49 mm
- What to know
- Same size, but the video port is different. Use a file made for the Pi 3.
Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W
- Size
- 65 x 30 mm, holes 58 x 23 mm
- What to know
- Small and light. Keep walls at 1.6 mm or thicker so they do not crack.
Raspberry Pi Pico
- Size
- 51 x 21 mm, holes 2.1 mm wide
- What to know
- No ports to line up, but the USB plug needs a clear slot. See Arduino and microcontroller cases too.

Which plastic should you pick?
Match the plastic to where the Pi lives. We print in three plastics for these cases.
Pick this for most cases. It is tough and it handles more heat than PLA, so it suits a vented case on a shelf, in a cabinet or in a garage.
Watch for: It has some give. Do not make walls thinner than about 2 mm.
Pick this for a desk case that sits indoors. It costs less and the detail comes out clean.
Watch for: It softens in a hot room, a sunny window or a closed car. It is the wrong choice for a case in a warm spot.
Pick this for soft parts: feet, bumpers, a pad under a handheld build, a seal for a lid.
Watch for: It bends. Do not use it for the case body, where the board needs a stiff frame. TPU goes to a person for a quote.
You see your instant price the moment you upload. TPU goes to a person, who prices the job. A person reviews your request and follows up by email. Full details are on the materials page.
Can you print a case I found online?
Maybe. A file being free to download does not make it free to print for sale. Some makers say no to commercial use.
So we check. Paste the link, and we read the license. If it allows commercial use, we print it. If you made the file or own the rights, tell us when you order. We keep a record of what we read.
What you get, and what you do not
You get the printed plastic parts. You do not get the Pi, the screws, the fan or the wiring. We do not put the case together for you. Parts ship as printed, with layer lines you can see.
A case with a lid prints as two parts, and they ship in one box. Most orders ship in 3 to 5 business days. Shipping is shown before you pay.
About product names
Raspberry Pi names are used only to say which board a case fits. We are not made by, sold by or tied to the company that makes them. Product names belong to their owners.
Common questions
- Can you 3D print a Raspberry Pi 5 case for me?
- Yes. Upload your case file in the box at the top of this page. You get an instant price in seconds. TPU goes to a person for a quote. We print in the USA and ship it. There is no minimum order.
- What if I do not have a Raspberry Pi case file?
- Paste a link to a model, or tell us the board you have and what you need. We read the maker's license before we print a linked model. We can also draw a case from a sketch. A person prices that by hand.
- Which plastic is best for a Raspberry Pi case?
- PETG for most cases, because it is tough and handles more heat than PLA. PLA is fine for a desk case indoors. TPU is for soft parts like feet and bumpers, not for the case body.
- Will a Raspberry Pi 4 case fit a Pi 5?
- Do not assume it will. The board size and hole spacing match, but the Pi 5 adds a power button and a fan plug. Use a file made for the Pi 5, or tell us what you have and we can say what we see.
- Do you ship the case with a Raspberry Pi in it?
- No. We print the case only. You add the board and the screws. We do not assemble parts.
- How much does a 3D printed Raspberry Pi case cost?
- It depends on the size, the plastic and how many you want. Upload the file and the price shows in seconds. The price you see is the price you pay.
- Can I get a printed case from an STL I downloaded?
- Yes, when the license lets us. Paste the link and we read it. If you made the file, say so when you order.
